Description
Led Zeppelin 1 - First Pressing in the rare turquoise lettering - Atlantic 588-171 - Red/Maroon Label - Superhype Credit.
Side 1 played without any jumps and had the odd crackles, side 2 was even better.
The cover is in very good condition with some creasing and a small split that is next to the pen end shown in the photo, under 10mm.
In my opinion this album played great without any problem to the listener and would be a great addition to any collection.

This album came from my friends brothers collection who sadly passed away several months ago, he had it amongst his prized records stored in an aluminium box which was kept locked.
Going by the grading shown I would have to put it into the Excellent bracket.
Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
