Description
Led Zeppelin I 1 Rock 12" Vinyl LP Record Atlantic 1969 SD 8216Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
Vinyl itself is in VG shape. I say VG because there is a skip on one track (side 1, track 1), some small/light scratches that play through and some scuffing here and there. There is static during quiet parts on some tracks and is a bit noisy from being played a lot- This is the original “heavy” vinyl record, 1st press with “R.G.” in the matrix. The mastering or pressing was done at Monarch studios and is know to be usually the best examples. That being said, this would be a great reference example or “space keeper” until that minty one comes along. Labels are in great shape. Labels look good with like old printing style, with the original Broadway address.
The cover has seen better days. There is some moisture/water damage on the front, and more on the lower back bottom. It came with an old “E.M.I.” inner sleeve? Also, this record came with a funky outer sleeve with “Direct Import Factory Sealed” label, which tells me maybe this was imported somewhere originally-
This is a classic album and a “must-have” for any collection-I will start this at $1.99
Vinyl will be placed in it’s own anti-static sheath, separate from its cover, & well packed in a standard record mailer, USPS Media Mail
Records have been given a basic cleaning, but I would recommend a proper cleaning to get even better sound and performance!
Of course returns are accepted if item does not match description-Check my feedback, it’s 100% positive!
Just a note: These albums come from a "virus-free" home. My heart goes out to those that are affected worldwide. You can be sure that I adhere to the social distancing policy very strongly and will thoroughly clean & pack these items well before shipping.
