Please note that I have tried to identify any possible minor shortcomings on the photographs. Along with the following details, I have tried to provide sufficient information for you to make an informed choice regarding bidding.
I'm aware that the few initial copies had turquoise lettering on the cover and within a matter of weeks this was replaced with orange lettering. However I believe that in every other respect this example has all the characteristics of a first press of Led Zeppelin 1:
- Red/ Plum labels
- 'Superhype' publishing credit
- Thin grey stripe at the base of front cover
- 'UPTIGHT AN' OUTASIGHT' Atlantic Appreciation Society credit

The fully laminated sleeve has no tears, rips, significant creasing or writing. It has some laminate lifting, but still looks very presentable and grades a near excellent

Comments: A very good looking sleeve that defies its 1969 vintage
Record:
The disc is not warped in any way. The disc retains its originl sheen with no obvious scratches, scuffs or marks.
Side one:
Visually: Excellent
Audio: Nr Excellent (a bit of noise on the dead was on the run in)
Side two:
Visually: Excellent
Audio: VG+/Nr Excellent. There is some audible background noise during the quiet introduction to the 1st track.

Visually: The vinyl look excellent retaining its original sheen and looking barely played
Play testing: the record has a great analogue sound and plays through with only the lightest of evidence to give away its vintage. This pressing knocks spots off subsequent reissues in terms of sheer power and delivery.
There is always a subjective element to play testing, in particular - I have tried to be as accurate as possible and offer a "no quibble" return policy if you think my discription is misleading in any way.

How I pack:
I use top quality cruciform (pizza box style) mailers along with sheets of highest quality card stiffeners. The disc will be removed from the sleeve and if the inner sleeve is non-generic, I will put the LP in a new generic sleeve to avoid damaging the original. Box sets will be packed in boxes and protected with bubble wrap. I have comprehensive a comprehensive range of packing materials at my disposal, so rest assured, your order should arrive undamaged.
Post:
I will post within 48 hours of receiving payment by 1st class mail or airmail. The cost of postage also covers high quality packing materials. UK postage will be upgraded free of charge to Royal Mail Recorded Delivery for any items realising £30.00 or over.
A bit about me:
It was 1960: I was eight. My cousin joined the Air Force and gave me his collection of 45’s: a great selection including Elvis and Buddy Holly. Usurping the family Dansette, I became well and truly hooked. By 1964/5 I was also seeing some of my favourite artist live. At the age of 11 I joined by first band playing music on and off over the subsequent years that also gave me experience of working in recording studios. Music is in my blood.
