Led Zeppelin 1st LP Turquoise UK Original LP EX+

This auction is for the very rare first pressing of the self titled debut Led Zeppelin album. This is the mega rare one with the turquoise writing on the front cover, the original plum/red Atlantic label and the 'Superhype' music publishing credit.

The matrix numbers are 588171 A//1 and 588171 B//1...This denotes that this particular album is pressed from the very first stampers and is as close as to the original master tape as you can get!
The album and cover are in truly excellent condition. Most dealers would grade this album a solid mint but due to the slightest crease on the top corners and opening edge and the slightest bit of de-lamination near the spine on the back (not split), I will grade the cover as EX+ and the record (which appears to have had very little use) also as EX+. The only flaw being that the name Phil Bishop has been written very neatly and unobtrusively on both labels.
This is one of the very few opportunities to own this album in such fine condition.
