You are bidding on an LP.  Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin, good condition cover and good+ vinyl (see notes below).  The item will be well packaged in a record mailer with 2 stiffeners (the vinyl removed and placed in a white paper sleeve to prevent seam splits) and sent immediately upon payment.  First Class postage in the UK, 'Standard International' to other destinations (see below).  I have tried to be as honest as I can about its condition but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

LISTEN BEFORE BIDDING
Listen to the whole album before bidding.

THERE ARE 3 RED PLUM LED ZEPPELIN LP'S ON AUCTION.  PLAYBACK SOUNDS BETTER THAN THERE (VISUAL) VINYL GRADING.
This is the original 1st press plum/red Atlantic release of Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin from 1969.  This is the nearest release to the withdrwan turquoise letterring 1st press with A//1, B//1 matrix numbers.  The back cover still has the uncorrected sleeve mistakes (see notes below).  The LP comes in a laminated cover.  The laminated cover is in good condition with creasing and scuffing and a clear cellotape mark on the bottom edge of the back cover.  The cover is still intact with no rips and not much fraying to the edges and spine (the spine lettering is still fully readable).  The labels are still in very good condition, undamaged with spindle marking.  The vinyl is in good+ condition, it looks very clean and bright with some surface marks/scratches and light scuffing.  Playback is still very good with crackling and some audible clicking on some surface marks/scratches.  If you are intending to make a bid please play and listen to the audio of the album to judge for yourself.

NOTE:  This album has been fully played and recorded from my Rega RP1 turntable and played back OK but we all have systems which may play vinyl differently when graded 'good'.  Please take this into account when bidding.

A1 / B1 first pressing (the nearest you can get to the very first turquoise lettering press)

"Babe I'm Gonna Leave You", traditional credit (later co-credited to folk artist Anne Bredon, who received retrospective royalties)
"How Many More Times" was timed as 3:30 to gain 'airplay' and actually times as 8:28.

Both sides have been played on a Rega RP1 turntable with an Ortofon OM5E cartridge (tracking weight: 1.5g - 2.0g) and listened to on a pair of high end Sennheiser headphones.

In general the vinyl is in good+ condition.  It looks very clean and bright with some surface marks/scratches.

I tend to be over critical of a records condition as it is not my intention to misrepresent what I am selling.  I want the buyer to feel what they have bought is as described although not everyones opinion of its condition will be the same as mine.
