Description
This LP is from my personal collection, and is an original 1969 Robert Ludwig pressing of Led Zeppelin 2 (Atlantic Records SD 8236). The gatefold cover is in VG++ condition with only of few small signs of wear, and the vinyl is in VG condition, with several surface scratches, though nothing that affects the playability or overall sound quality of the record. There is some occasional surface noise, but it is minimal. I've owned this record for almost 40 years, but hadn't played it since the late 70's, until just recently that is, and I'm not sure I had previously ever fully realized how amazingly good the sound quality of the record is. I also didn't realize I had a Robert Ludwig copy of this record until I stumbled across some info about it on a music blog, then I looked at the matrix numbers on the vinyl with a flashlight, and was quite surprised when I saw the RL initials engraved there!
The matrix numbers for the record are: Side 1 (ST - A - 691671 - 1A, with the initials RL engraved directly above that. There are also the letters J and T about an inch or so to the left of ST).
Side 2 (ST - A - 691672 - 1A, with the initials RL engraved on the opposite side of the run-off area. There are also what look to be the letters O and T about an inch or so to the left of ST).
