Description
*I am currently selling a collection of Heavy Metal and rock LPs, predominantly from the mid 70’s to the early 90’s but with the odd outlier thrown in. All well looked after and some real rarities. I combine shipping and always remove the vinyl from the sleeve before packing and posting. Where anything other than a generic white inner is present, the vinyl is always placed in a brand new white inner to preserve the original. Brand new ‘clear glass’ plastic sleeves are added to all LPs. I describe items accurately as I know how disappointing it is to receive a much anticipated record where flaws have been glossed over or gone unmentioned. I try to listen to each record before describing it but if I don’t have time I will listen to selected parts to gauge the level of background noise and I will always listen to any passages where there are surface marks to judge the impact these have. I always give positive feedback after payment so the customer is able to give feedback purely judged on the service once they have received the item. Stunning copy of Led Zeppelin’s third album.
A beautifully preserved original 1st pressing with A5 B5 matrices and Peter Grant credit.
The sleeve is a strong, sound example with a fully working wheel and pleasingly readable spine. There is some handling and storage wear but overall a VG+, close to Excellent example.
The original inner sleeve with 10/70 date stamp is present and nicely intact with some bunching and a small tear at the centre. The vinyl is now housed in a new polylined white inner to preserve the original.
The vinyl is visually excellent with a beautiful sheen still in evidence and no major marks at all - a stunning copy. The audio is fantastic and any background static is very light - a few pops on That’s the Way’ the only really noticeable interference. I noticed a tiny skip during Celebration Day but with no other interference associated with it and this detracts very little from the overall listening experience which remains easily Excellent overall.
