Hi, and welcome to my listing.

Over the coming weeks and months there will be many highly sought-after albums/singles being listed, including some titles which are so rare that I haven’t been able to find other copies anywhere else. Many items, drawn from a specialist private collection, can be sure to appeal to the more refined collectors – as it is my intent to offer the more refreshing and distinguished titles as much as possible. In addition, it is probably worth noting that I will be offering many of these items at a very competitive – in most circumstances unrivalled – price points for their grade. Fairness is of great importance to me. In light of all of this, I invite anybody interested in vinyl to ‘see [my] other items’, as I’m confident there will be something of interest for everyone. Grading 

(According to the ‘Rare Record Collectors’ Guide’s Criteria/ My personal audio setup) With regard to all gradings, it is useful to 'give or take' to allow for some room either side. That being said, I really do try to be accurate, or to even lean on the stricter side of grading rather than the lenient, so that you recieve an accurate or better grading. To most this is common sense, but I add this just to avoid any time-consuming dispute. Thank you for understanding! 

Cover: G+    The cover remains very presentable and holds particularly well inside a good protective sleeve (which i will include). The common age-related storage and usage wear is present: a fair amount of creasing in the laminate, a small 'punched' hole in the bottom right and also splitting (a considerable length) along the top and bottom and some of the side of the first part of the gatefold, which has been managed with some tape (as can be seen). Such state prevents the wheel from being fully functional, although it still sits reasonably inside the cover. Spine is slightly off angle - near 45 degrees - although remains fully legible. Not the best example of this cover out there, but still does an okay job for a tolerant collector. The back part of the gatefold holds fine, and the vinyl still sits well inside this part. Labels as per photos - with writing etc. Please study photos to get a good idea of the general condition.

Vinyl (Visually): G+ Surface has many wispy hairline and sleeve-removal marks. The occasional scuff etc. but most of these marks remain relatively harmless as most are only seen under bright lighting; at normal room light, most of these should'nt be too obvious. There are a few more noticeable marks on the playing surface - which i have tried to capture, although not necessarily fully expressed due to technology, in the photos. I would say that aesthetically there are many 'marks', although i would say that a great deal of them are non-feelable and superficial only. This proved to be the case in the play test. Depending on how you feel about the visuals of a vinyl maybe a case for VG- could be made, although for the sake of being assuring i have kept it in the G+ bracket. It is in this vicinity, so keep this in mind when bidding.

Playback (if applicable): VG+ Played entirely. On my turntable this played all the way through - without any skips or jumps - with brilliant sound output. The clarity of the album was still there; great mids, highs and dynamic range. Mild surface noise only in the quieter passages, between tracks and run-ins. However, at no time was it overwhelming. It was punchy and bright throughout. If you looked away you would think this was a VG/VG+ copy. Since it performed much better than it looks, i personally would regard the listening experience at around the VG+ mark. Of course this is only as of my personal audio setup, but i do have quite a sensitive cartridge - so results could differ, but i would expect similar performance.

Rarest Peter Grant copy, which is considered the most sought after copy. This copy is frequently seen at much higher prices £££. Here is a good chance to get hold of a rarity for a more affordable price, and still be able to enjoy a good performance out of it.

As a gesture of good faith, I have play tested all of my items over £20 (entirely) so that you can grasp a firm and transparent understanding of the performance - please see above for this. This will, in alignment with convention, go alongside a meticulous visual grading (of which I aim to be as fair and accurate as possible). As shown, detailed photos of the item are provided, allowing you to view it with great clarity: please feel free to inspect it for yourself. For the purposes of certainty, I will complement the photos with a supplementary description. As a bonus (for all my items), I ensure the item is packed in a strong purpose-built mailer, with stiffeners and bubble wrap. I will also clean the vinyl, attempt to remove any present static and place it and the sleeve in a protective cover (as further reinforcement to the packaging). I do not, unlike most other people, charge for such extras – and so postage remains at its lowest cost for the chosen delivery! I am happy to answer any additional questions about the item, if there is something i've missed. 

All items above £15 will be 'signed for', for seller & buyer protection. Again, I will happily absorb this cost!
