Description
I have a small number of LPs from the 70s that have been in careful storage for the last 40 - 50 years and are, as such, in Mint or very near to mint condition.
All my records are professionally packed before posting or shipping.

Led Zeppelin
Untitled/Four Symbols/IV
Atlantic K 50008
An immaculate 1972 pressing of this seminal album.
Often referred to as a ‘transitional’ pressing as Atlantic moved to the Green and Orange labels from the Red and plum style synonymous with the very first pressings.
The transitional term refers to the fact that many of the earlier pressing attributes are still in evidence on this 1972 copy.
Most notably, PORKY/PECKO DUCK remains etched in the runout and the MISTY MOUNTAIN TOP error is recurrent.
All the text in this pressing is in the bottom half of the label and the four symbols are absent.
This is an immaculate copy - I have never seen one like it. The sleeve is a strong Near Mint with barely any handling or storage wear in sight. Opening the gatefold is like opening it for the first time - the inner gatefold containing the iconic interior design is Mint.
The inner sleeve is perhaps the first one I have seen without a split in sight. It is Mint, the vinyl stored in a poly-lined white inner from new.
The vinyl is a joy to behold, an extremely lightly played very near to Mint copy. The listening experience is incredible with barely a sound in the background, even through the intro to Stairway. Going to California rings out!
An incredible find for a fraction of the price of a red/plum copy in similar condition and pressed just a few months later!
