1969 fully laminated sleeve and plum Atlantic label.

By no means a mint copy but still provides a listening experience that will blow the socks of later reissues.

Please note that I have tried to identify any possible minor shortcomings of the sleeve and labels on the photographs. Along with the following details, I have tried to provide sufficient information for you to make an informed choice regarding bidding. Money back guarantee.

Condition

Sleeve
The printed Garrod & Lofthouse Limited sleeve is laminated front and rear with a grey stripe along the front bottom edge.
Front:
Minor micro creases, minor laminate lisfting towards the spine with a 5 cm scuff along the bottom edge. This is not a split as it has not perforated the sleeve (see photo).
Back:
Minor crease to one corner, minor laminate lifting near the spine and the letter "m" in biro in the bottom left corner. This is less than a cm high and quite feint. (see photo)
Opening Edge:
The laminate has shrunk slightly from the edge the edge itself is still sharp and only displays very minor signs of wear
Spine:
Near wxcellent
Edges:
top edge is excellent, bottom edge has the major scuff as previously described.
Corners:
Excellent: only a small knock/scuff to one corner.

Inner sleeve: The inner sleeve I have with this is a plain poly lined die cut white sleeve, it may not be original.

Comments: The sleeve is clean and intact without rips or tears but has a significant 5 cm scuff along the bottom edge.

Record:

The disc is not warped in any way.

Side one:
Nr Excellent. Very minor (barely noticable) background noise in very quite sections (tested on studio quality monitors - designed to reveal even the smallest defects).
Side two:
Some noticible background noise on the run in grooves and the first few bars of the first track, otherwise as above.

Labels
Near Mint

Visually the vinyl looks in excellent condition with little signs of been over played
Play testing: No pops, distortion but with some minor background noise. However a great analogue sound.

Summary. 5cm scuff to otherwise near excellent sleeve. Minor background noise on odd occasions but nevertheless a fantastic detailed and powerful sound.

How I pack:

I use top quality cruciform (pizza box style) mailers along with sheets of highest quality card stiffeners. The disc will be removed from the sleeve and if the inner sleeve is non-generic, I will put the LP in a new generic sleeve to avoid damaging the original. Box sets will be packed in boxes and protected with bubble wrap. I have comprehensive a comprehensive range of packing materials at my disposal, so rest assured, your order should arrive undamaged.

It was 1960: I was eight. My cousin joined the Air Force and gave me his collection of 45’s: a great selection including Elvis and Buddy Holly. Usurping the family Dansette, I became well and truly hooked. By 1964/5 I was also seeing some of my favourite artist live. At the age of 11 I joined by first band playing music on and off over the subsequent years that also gave me experience of working in recording studios. Music is in my blood.
