Bought this, well, barely used in 2006. Hardly played it over the years but when it came out I thought it rocked.
Considering how bad most copies of Zep 1 are this remaster by Bernie Grundman is pretty dam good, assuming you have a good one pressed properly. If your a collector then a sealed copy is probably for you, mind you, at a much higher price. If you want a copy to listen to and enjoy this is it. I know it sounds good cause I actually listened to it. You cant tell how good records sounds if you dont play it. Rest assured a sealed copy of any record is a crap shoot for sound.
Played this one all the way through and besides really rocking its tonally correct and super dynamic. More dynamic than the average copy. The most tubey of all the Zep albums, this copy will blow you away with how warm and present it can sound. Mark my words. Turn this up loud. I'm sure you have never heard this album sound this good.
Super quiet with hardly a tick in the vinyl. Mint to mint-, Near perfect. The cover is pristine. The original paper sheath is in the cardboard sleeve. A superb copy of Zep 1. You will have a hard time beating this copy for sound.
