Led Zeppelin - Houses Of The Holy
(Atlantic K50014 UK LP 1973)
This is a late 1970's UK pressing. This LP was kept in an outer clear gatefold PVC sleeve for a long period. It has preserved the sleeve remarkably well, However, it has reacted with the vinyl on one side, and has left some surface PVC marks (Please see below for more details).
This LP has a heavyweight matte gatefold sleeve. It is shiny matte on the front cover, it is plain matte on the inner gatefold. It comes with its original Lyric Inner Sleeve. This is printed on thick matte card. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has green & orange "Atlantic" labels. These have the "Warner" logo on them. The matrix numbers are as follows:
Side 1: K50014 A3 "STERLING" is machine stamped in the dead wax.
Side 2: K50014 B1 "PECKO" is machine etched in the dead wax.

Gatefold Sleeve: As stated, this LP was kept in an outer clear gatefold PVC sleeve. This has preserved the sleeve remarkably well. There is some light or very minor rubbing wear to the corner tips. The spine is in fantastic condition & shows next to no wear. There is some light, very mild or very minor ringwear on some areas. Near Mint condition
Vinyl: As stated, this LP was kept in an outer PVC sleeve for a long period. Over time, unfortunately, this has reacted with the vinyl. It has left some mild to more moderate "cloudy" surface PVC marks over two-thirds of Side 2. These can only be seen under a strong light. Side 1 is unaffected.
Otherwise, the vinyl appears to be hardly played! The inner sleeve, over time, has left a 12 cm dull surface streak at the edge of Side 1. It can only be seen under a strong light. Otherwise, there are a few light or very minor sleeve rubs which can barely be seen under a strong light. Side 1 is in Excellent+ condition. Side 2 is in Very Good minus condition. Only because of the surface PVC marks. It would otherwise be the same grade as Side 1. Overall, a strong Very Good condition. The labels are in Excellent condition & show minimal spindle wear only.
The Lyric Inner Sleeve is in Near Mint condition. There is minimal ringwear. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. Side 1 plays Excellent to Excellent+ overall & Near Perfect in many places. Side 2 plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall & Excellent+ in many places. There is some light, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places. Overall, an Excellent audio copy.
I shall place the vinyl into a separate plain paper inner sleeve. This will protect the original inner sleeve from any damage during the shipping process.
