Description

An original 1st French press of HOTH on the Atlantic label. Matrix MPO A/B... Etching 'Sterling'. Please note label design is consistent with 1st issue and includes that rather obvious print error in the title [House Of The Holy]...no plural then! The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original matt gatefold cover.
Vinyl (Ex+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. To my ears these French 1st presses are every bit the equal of their UK 1st press counterparts. The audio quality is very revealing and does a terrific job with HOTH. A beautiful clean rendition is an absolute must with HOTH.. There are very complex loud passages, but also many low-key slow-build passages. Don't compromise on the audio - snag the best copy you can find. And this copy most certainly delivers...... Interference is very minor indeed. We couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A top-level and mighty impressive rendition.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Only the very lightest handling is visible front and back.. the interior seems pretty much faultless - no issues at all. Edge wear is relatively light. There's just a touch noticeable in a couple of spots on the spine. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
