Description

Led Zeppelin Houses Of The Holy LP - Original? - Exc cond. Sent with Australia Post Standard Service.
From my person collection. I have had this album for many years - I think since new. It is an Australian pressing - 3rd variation on first pressing I think. Serial numbers MX 169702-F and MX 169703. However, I bow to anyone who has more knowledge about these matters than me if I am presenting it incorrectly.
I have played the record through on both sides and can hear no imperfections (although my hearing isn't what it used to be prior to cranking up the volume over many year).
I think that I would rate the vinyl at at least VG+ on the Goldmine rating scale. There is a visible flat scratch at the end of side one, but most of the scratch is in the run out section rather than the song. I could not hear any crackles from this scratch, but would not bet my life on there not being a faint imperfection.
The Cover and inner sleeve are close to flawless. Has to be at least VG++.
All in all, a very good copy I would say. Any perfectionists out there should ask me questions or seek further clarification before purchasing.
I have been dispatching records in a double layer of stiff cardboard, with the vinyl outside the cover to minimise the risk of pressure damage to the cover.
