Description
PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!!!
PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER OR BUYING IT!
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A REISSUE PRESSING FROM 1977 WITH WITH THE ORIGINAL OBI - BAND - SASH - WRAP!
THE RECORD COMPANY USED THE OBI TO HIDE THE IMAGES ON THE COVER.
THE OBI WAS USUALLY DISCARDED AS KIDS WOULD RIP IT TO SMITHEREENS TO SEE THE INSIDE OF THE GATEFOLD.
THIS IS NOT A RECORD CLUB COPY, RECENT RECORD STORE DAY RELEASE OR RECENT 180 GRAM RELEASE.
THIS IS NOT A JAPANESE IMPORT / RELEASE.
PLEASE NOTE: THE OBI IS A LITTLE ROUGH. UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS USED AS A DISPLAY PIECE AND SUFFERED FROM THE ELEMENTS OF THE LATE 70S & EARLY 80s PARTY SCENE. THERE IS A SPLIT SEAM ON 1 SIDE, WHICH WAS "REPAIRED" WITH SCOTCH TAPE. THE OTHER SIDE IS INTACT, BUT HAS A LARGE "SHARK BITE" TAKEN OUT OF IT. AND THERE IS A SMALL TEAR STEMMING FROM THE "SHARK BITE". (please see pics)THE OBI HAS CREASES, CRUMPLES, TEARS / FRAYING, TAPE REMOVAL MARKS, FADING / DISCOLORATION / FOXING, ETC... TYPICAL WITH AGE.(please see pics)
THE LP, COVER & INNER SLEEVE WERE NOT USED AS A DISPLAY PIECE AND WERE SAFELY STORED SEPARATELY.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A VISUAL SURFACE MARK NEAR THE END OF SIDE 1 / TRACK 1 THAT IS NON-FEELABLE AND DOES NOT AFFECT PLAY. IT LOOKS WORSE THAN IT SOUNDS. IT IS WHAT I LIKE TO CALL "VISUALLY UNAPPEALING". (please see pics).
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A VERY SMALL SLIGHTLY FEELABLE MARK ON SIDE 2 / TRACK 3 THAT WILL CAUSE A CLICK FOR 2-3 ROTATIONS. IT DOES NOT OVER POWER THE MUSIC, ITS JUST THAT IT COMES DURING A QUIET PASSAGE. (please see pics) (it is difficult to see, but it's there)
PLEASE NOTE: THE CUSTOM INNER SLEEVE HAS A SMALL SPLIT SEAM ON THE BOTTOM. (please see pics)
IF ANY OF THESE ISSUES ARE A CONCERN FOR YOU, PLEASE DON'T BUY IT!
Up for sale is one(1) Led Zeppelin - Houses Of The Holy LP from 1973 on Atlantic Records (#SD 19130). This is a Reissue pressing from 1977.

PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME! But you may hear surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition with typical wear from age that may cause surface noise typical with an VERY GOOD grading. Even with an VERY GOOD grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts. AND ANY ISSUES STATED ABOVE!
Nice, clean labels with some spindle marks.
