Description
Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy (2014, Atlantic, EU)
Super Deluxe box set. All round excellent condition with seam splits in the top of both LP sleeves (see photos). Played LPs twice (once to play grade). Download card (hi-rez) has not been used.
Vinyl Grade - NM
Both LPs as new (tiny "pimple" at start of "The Ocean" which has no effect on play or sound)
Sleeve Grade - VG+
Both sleeves as new except for seam splits on top of each sleeve (see photos)
Play Grade*
LP1 has been pressed slightly off-centre but this didn't affect play. No issues on side A. A few ticks leading into side B, track 1 and a few ticks during "No Quarter". May just need a clean. LP2 has been pressed slightly off-centre but this didn't affect play. There is a skip around 1 minute from the end of Side A though there is no visible mark on the vinyl. Side B is all good. Again, this may just need a clean.
Other Grades
Everything else is as new. Box is perfect. Non-numbered edition.
* A note about play grading:
I play grade through headphones, listening for any obvious flaws. My setup: Pro-ject Mk II Xpression III turntable fitted with an Ortofon 2M Bronze cartridge, through to a Vincent Pho-8 Phono Pre-amplifier, on to a Cambridge Audio 651A Stereo Amplifier and finally out to a pair of Grado sr225i headphones.
I use Goldmine gradings. I never use Mint unless an item is still sealed. If you have any issues, please let me know. If it was me, I would!
I use recycled LP mailers for postage, with bubble wrap for extra protection.
I will combine postage - just ask.
