Hello there

For sale from my personal collection is an absolutely stunning first edition pressing of Led Zeppelin's Holy of the Houses LP.

Details are:

Number K50014 Stereo 1973

A2/B3 matrices !

The above matrices indicate that this is one of the earliest UK pressings and I believe was pressed before the initial UK batches were sold.  There are unique differences in this album which make it different from these initial UK first batches.

It has:

A matt gatefold sleeve! - other editions were glossy

A soft textured inner sleeve!- other editions were thicker and no texture.

Exquisite loud cut engineering of Geaorge Chkiantz producing fantastic audio tones!!

No Warner Label logo on the record label!

This really is very rare and special to find in this fantastic condition.

SLEEVE

The gatefold sleeve is in beautiful condition displaying warm and rich colours. Opening the sleeve you will find a deep turquouise blue presented with perfection whilst fading into a greenish yellow hue. Virtually no edgewear, the sleeve is as near to perfect as you can expect to find. Spine is solid!

INNER SLEEVE

Earliest issue with textured soft paper manufacture.  No seam splits!  MacNeill Press printed confirming very early issue. No folds, just a very very minor crease to bottom right and one side does have the title and year written in pen in the top left hand corner (see picture).  Pictures show the flash of my camera and not ageing.  It is clean throughout and in lovely condition. 

RECORD

The record itself has to be seen to be believed.  Absolutely pristine condition, no marks, no warps, no dust it is as new!  Label is the earliest without Warner Logo. Uttely utterly gorgeous piece of vinyl that you will cherish on receipt.  Atlantic Green and Orange format not faded it is like new, colours are bold - no spindle marks it is simply stunning.  The picture does not do it justice in displaying how good the record condfition really is. 

The play is sensational with fantastic delivery - I think that this has been played just once or maybe twice in its lifetime.  Record has mirror like sheen to it and highly polished surfaces!  No surface marks, nothing!

Very rare chance to own a fantastic piece of rock history.  One of the best examples you will ever see.  A very very special record.
