Description
Hello there, come on in and welcome to the auction!
As you can see from my 100% feedback, I sell with complete honesty and reliability. Above all things I am a record collector and music lover. I only sell records that I would want to receive. I know well the disappointment of receiving an over-graded record that turns up two weeks late. That is not the service you will receive here, so bid with total confidence. I don’t sell a lot of records because I spend a lot of time carefully finding, grading and listing them and do not like to rush this process, as many sellers must do to be able to sell 100 records a week!
I am mostly a collector of old time music, pre-war blues and folk, so buy job-lots that often contain rare records that aren’t to my taste so to ebay they go!
(On that note, if you have any early American blues or folk to swap or sell, please get in touch!)

IN MAGNIFICENT CONDITION

The labels
The red and plum labels are in Excellent condition. Both base colours are rich and vibrant, and the whiteband is still white and not soiled at all. The black typeface is unrubbed and perfectly legible.
The vinyl
The heavyweight vinyl is in magnificent condition. It has retained all of it's original sheen. It looks as good as the day it was pressed. There are no marks or blemishes on the surface,and in daylight it looks flawless, and even when put up to intense illumination there is only occasional whispy removal lines to see!
Playing the record
From the second the stylus is placed onto the disc until the final fadeout, this vinyl performs like a brand new 1969 disc.
There is absolutely no distortion to the sound, and no heavy background crackle
No embedded vinyl noise anywhere
Only very minimal static and no tics or pops
This is just perfection all the way through
I am perfectly happy to grade this playthrough as Excellent
The sleeve
The iconic zep I sleeve in great condition
The front surface has a laminate that gleams like a polished mirror.
There is a some laminate lift against the spine which is the usual culprit on the thin sleeves
Notice that the sleeve has the first issue grey strip along the bottom edge
All in all a sound sleeve that I would rate as a solid V Good +

I will package the records with extreme care, with hard stiffeners and the vinyl separate to the sleeve and inner, all housed in a Defenda lock tab record box envelope.
