Description
A rare opportunity has arisen for this fine conditioned 1st pressing of the classic debut album by LED ZEPPELIN.
I will attempt to describe the condition - the most important part of any bid - as best I can. If you have any questions, no matter how intricate or random don't hesitate to ask. This record has had only one owner. It is still in the original laminate record cover.
The Cover I would grade at EX-. Its does not have any marks or splits to the cover however their is a some creasing to the laminate, not the cover as such. in other words the laminate has creased, with the creases remaining present where the card cover hasn't done so. The overall look of the cover has not been affected as you can see from the pictures, there isn't even much de-colourisation from since new.
The Vinyl itself I would grade as VG+. As you can see from the pictures there are no big scratches on the vinyl. In fact luckily there is nothing that affects play in the obvious major ways such as the skips or pops, which can frustrate anyone even if it's just once throughout. There are however fine hairline scratches, a sign of the wear and the amount of plays it's had on both sides. This doesn't affect the play in the forementioned way but it can mean some static between a few tracks and silences. This doesn't happen often though and as I listen to it now I am in fact quite gutted that I'm in a position where I have to sell a record that I've cherished for so many years. The vinyl is also provided with an anti-static record sleeve too, which I was referred to years ago by a record dealer to keep this important record safe.
It has the A//1 B//1 matrix and the catalogue number is 588171 on both vinyl and cover. What a treat to pull an Atlantic Plum out from this iconic album cover.
