NOTES ON THE AUTOGRAPHS (MUST READ): This LP was in a storage room of my Uncles. IN the 60s & 70s he was quite the hell-raiser. In 1974 he was a roadie for a band called Point Blank and Grinderswitch and travelled all over the world. He also worked for Showco in Dallas. There are tons of polaroid pics of him with bands of the time (ALTHOUGH NO pics of Led Zep) so it is possible, based on other signed LPs in the storeroom this was signed by Led Zeppelin.
We took the LP to a place in Las Vegas to authenticate the autographs and were told there is a 90% chance 2 of the signatures (John Bonham and John Paul Jones) look to be accurate and signed around the time of this LP. The 2 signatures in what is believed to be a sharpie had to have been signed after the initial 2 signatures and possibly 10 years later. Sharpies were around since the mid-60s but not very common. However, a sound man for a band would have had a sharpie, they were used to mark things on soundboar.
We took the LP to another place in Baltimore and they could not confirm or deny these were valid signatures.
Knowing the stories about my Uncle, we believe he did get the LP signed by the members of Led Zeppelin but possibly at different times.
