Led Zeppelin II 2 1ST PRESS " LOVIN WRECK" A2/B2 PLUM RED ORIGINAL 1969 UK LP

DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- II 2 .1ST UK pressing with  light brown gate fold sleeve. The spine is not blue tinged, but you can see the blue coming through to rear of sleeve through fading. This comes with lowest A2/B2  matrix and "Livin Lovin Wreck" credit on red/plum lightly textured labels.  Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. Postage cost includes tracking and a box mailer. Collection filler only- please note the grading for the vinyl is Fair which means still just playable. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 588 198: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969:  COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F/VG. Vinyl is clean with lots of light brushing lines, hairlines and short scratches. Heavily played and not well looked after. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable.  Like many other copies of this it has multiple skips during "Whole Lotta Love" (and "Heartbreaker"- see later).  I only noticed one skip in the next track  "What is and What...".  The rest of side 1 seemed to play through with a fair bit of crackle and ticks in the quieter passages in particular .There are also a series of clicks towards the end of "Thank You". On side 2 "Heartbreaker" skips multiple times, I came close to moving the needle onto the next track but saw it out. Ive had 3 of copies of this now where the first tracks on both sides have multiple skips so im wondering if there was a pressing fault.  The rest of side 2 - "Livin Lovin Maid", "Ramble On", "Moby Dick" and "Bring It on Home" all played through okay with background sound and ticks. Cover is okay, lower end VG. It retains good shape. It is firm and square and has near heavy edge wear, near heavy corner wear and only moderate creasing. It has a small sticker removal graze shaded in in top Right hand front corner. Pretty clean inside to gate-fold.   Clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
