An original 1971 Red and Plum Zep II. As good as you could hope to find from an audio perspective AND cover too. Heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. The original  inner too . 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Just clean riffage - even in the lowkey moments!  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT level of playback. This is a very high standard of preservation for Zep Red & Plum. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Nice detailed sound...plenty of dynamics...good snappy percussion and drumming....The audio is absolutely top dollar...clean feeder  into the quiet moments. Power and detail combined. If you really want to hear all the vocal acrobatics in Zep II ...for the 1st time...this is the sort of standard u need to hit. Take Whole Lotta for instance...there are really good copies that will play it well...and then there are GREAT copies...where, in the instrumental breaks, you're going to witness all the low level detail that gets missed on fairly good copies. You get to hear the Plant vocal echoes...intricate tapping by Bonham. These start to get obscured on lesser copies...but on those that are supremely well preserved -- they are fully audible. At worst a couple of very minor ticks early in WIAWSB [hardly worth mentioning - but I will]... this copy is acing it throughout. Intro to 'Ramble' --- heavenly...Into the low key passages in Thank You and Bring It on Home. These are amongst the hardest pots to find playing properly clean. Could you beat this copy --? I think from what I've witnessed before - this is about as good as you can go...In all honesty...there isn't much beyond this. Once you get clean delivery - right into the lowkey moments...you start to REALLY hear ZepII properly. Highly recommended from ALL angles.
Cover (Ex-)  Highly unusual...lovely clean surfaces this copy still looks amazing. Most copies - original ones - do not have surfaces this well preserved. Bit of edge wear along bottom edge - and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 85% intact with all text legible . Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) No split.
