Early 'plum and orange' Atlantic pressing
in exceptional condition.
Vinyl: Plays superbly, one faint mark which does not sound, otherwise excellent.
Labels: Like new, the best I've seen on any copy of 'LZ2'.
Sleeve: Excellent apart from some minor ringwear on the rear and a couple of small marks on the inside gatefold bottom right hand corner, (see photos). The original poly-lined sleeve in great condition.
One final note - the main brown colour of the sleeve is somewhere between the original pale brown of the first 588198 copies and the later 'Kinney' K40037 black version, (I have both of these and so was able to make a comparison). The original poly-lined sleeve has '10/71' at the bottom, suggesting that this copy was one of the last before the change to the first orange and green label copies in 1972.
