Original 1969 german 2nd issue of LZ II with RL cut on Side A, some german 1st pressings exist with RL on both sides like the US ones, but these are near impossible to find, here you have a fine example of the german revised Version with the unbelieveable good sounding RL cut on Side A and the revised Side B. Later issues have 40 037 catalogue number on front of the Cover. Hard to find in pristine condition, this one here has been played and under very strong light there are light marks visible. Vinyl in strong VG+ to EX condition, Side A plays with very light crackle in quiet places (e.g. run-in of Whole lotta love), but nothing really disturbing, this german RL pressing sounds awesome. But don't expect the magic on Side B, because here you have the non RL Side. Cover is in very good condition, has a tiny tear on front right side and a corner wear side, please look at the pictures.
- Matrix / Runout (Runout A, etched): ST - A - 691 671 - A LW W AT RL
- Matrix / Runout (Runout B, etched): ST.A-691672-M LW AT W
This is the revised version where Bob Ludwig (RL) is credited in the runouts on side A, the LW in the runouts on Side B indicates the metall-work of Longwear Plating. The pressing rings hints for a Pallas pressing. B1 is spelled on label incorrectly as "Heartbreakers".
