LED ZEPPELIN - 'II'
This great sounding, genuine 1972 pressing of their 1969 album is on the early green/orange Atlantic label: K 40037
The copyright text is contained within the orange section of the labels and there is no 'Warners' logo.
The publishers are listed as 'Kinney Music' on both labels.
The side 1 label lists track 3 as 'Killing Floor'.
Matrix numbers
Side 1: 588198 A//6, K 40037 A
Side 2: K 40037-B1
Vinyl weight: 141g
Housed in a matt 'E.J. Day' printed gatefold cover which lists 'The Lemon Song' as track 3 on side 1 & the text '..distributed by The Kinney Group Ltd.'
Complete with original 'Patent No. 1,125,555' die-cut inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
DiscVisual: EXCELLENT
Audio: EXCELLENT +
Clean & glossy playing surfaces bearing just a few insignificant surface marks and hairlines beneath halogen light. This disc has been seldom played and the sound quality is unworn throughout. Apart from a a couple of light ticks between tracks, there is little to fault and much to enjoy on this well looked after copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Fully intact with light storagewear marking to the rear panel and minor shelfwear to the lower edge. The inside panels are perfectly clean & unblemished and all seams and the fully worded spine are unstressed & unsplit.
