Overall Description
Here we have a true 1st pressing of, what is considered by many, the greatest rock album of all time!!
Complete with the light brown matt gatefold sleeve which credits the Lemon Song as well as Livin Lovin Maid with no Stereo marking on the front cover
The 1st Press Red and Plum labels credit Jimmy Page and side 1 has the Lemon Song credit!!
These are all tell tale signs of a true 1st pressing!!

Outer Sleeve
The fully untextured gatefold outer sleeve is in really nice condition throughout. There is no writing on either side. The colours are still lovely and vibrant, with the inside picture of the zeppelin in pristine condition. There is shelf wear to the corners and edges, and some discolouring to the front. Some ringwear is visible on the rear with signs of aging also. The 1st pressings of these sleeves are so often really damaged and worn, and this is a really nice example. The spine is perfectly readable with no rips or tears! Very Good +
Inner Sleeve
The Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous Inner is straight with no rips tears or writing!! Some discolouring to outer edges only! Excellent
Labels
The iconic red and plum Atlantic labels, which indicate a true 1st press, are in lovely condition, with only a few minor spindle marks being visible under a strong halogen bulb!! There are no writing, rubbing or stains at all Excellent +
Vinyl Visual
The record still retains its factory shine and lustre. It’s a heavy record, again a sign of a first press. There is no evidence of warping at all!! There are a coplue of hairlines that can be seen under a strong halogen bulb, but none that can be felt, and none that my system picked up on! Its clear to see this record has not been hammered as many copies often are Very Good+
Vinyl Audio
The record played through superbly!! There are no jumps or skips. There is no warping or distortion on the heavy parts at all. The dynamics are perfectly separable and crystal clear. Minor static between tracks on the quiet!! A couple of pops can be heard on side 1 track 2 but other than that it sounded great!! Excellent

A superb 1969 true 1st pressing of THE classic Led Zeppelin record!
