Description

Led Zeppelin II - SD8236 - Atlantic Records 1969
Side One has the following inscriptions in the dead vinyl: ST - A - 691671 - C RL SS P LW W AT" Side Two has the following inscriptions in the dead vinyl: ST - A - 691672 - A P LW AT RL SS"    
"RL SS" indicates that it is a Robert Ludwig "Hot Mix" version (both sides). "SS" indicating Sterling Sound. "PR" indicates that is was manufactured by Presswood Pressing.
Jacket is printed on matte finish cardboard (not slick semigloss finish).
Jacket has wear around the edges. Front and back cover have areas of shelf wear and some dark stains, mostly along the bottom area. There is a brown colored dried round shaped stain of some sort to the left of the band photo within the zeppelin balloon silhouette. The top left corner of the front has 2 small holes that look like they came from some type of fixture or staple. The bottom front features the Atlantic logo and the catalog number SD8236. The gatefold has damage within the center spine region. This damage continues to the outer spine area on the other side. The top center area of the gatefold has the continuation of the 2 small holes (staple?) from the front cover on both sides of the spine. The back cover has a moderate gouge in a half circle shape going through the center back area. There is a small dented area on the back above the gouge. There are several stains within the  zeppelin balloon silhouette on the back cover. The sleeve area has a small split at the top fold.
Records have some minor/moderate scratches and wear on each side. There are about 2-3 more prominent scratches on Side TWO, one being an approx 1 inch "scuff" that can be felt when gently running my fingernail across it. Message me if you would like a photo of that particular scratch.
Record has not been tested.  (I do not own a turntable anymore) It will also likely need to be properly cleaned.  I do not have the resources to do this correctly.
Interior sleeve features full color printing on both sides featuring The Atlantic Catalogue. The bottom of the sleeve is beginning to split at the fold. There are some small creases, tears and folds at the top where the record inserts into the interior sleeve.
I am not an experienced vinyl/record grader so PLEASE look closely at the provided photos/video for details.
