Up for auction is a beautiful, highly collectible early UK pressing of Led Zeppelin II released on the iconic Atlantic Red/Plum label (Catalog Number: 588198). This is the early 1970 transitional variant featuring the corrected "Livin' Lovin' Maid" text on Side 2 and the ℗ 1970 date stamp.This record has been exceptionally well preserved and features highly desired early master stampers in the dead wax.Matrix / Runout Details:Side 1 (Stamped): 588198 A ▽ 4 (Also stamped with trailing 5 and 2)Side 2 (Stamped): 588198 B ▽ 4Condition Report:Vinyl (Visual Grading): Excellent (EX). The vinyl surface retains its brilliant original glossy luster with absolutely no scratches. Extremely clean wax that has been handled with total care.Labels: Very Good Plus (VG+). Bright, clean red and plum Polydor-pressed labels. Minor, faint spindle trails around the center holes as expected with age, but no ink wear or tears.Sleeve / Jacket: Very Good (VG). Original unlaminated gatefold cover printed by E.J. Day Co. It shows honest, minor age-related shelf wear along the edges and spine.
