Not only is this the rare, withdrawn hot mix by Robert Ludwig, it comes from the Monarch pressing plant from California. On top of all of that, it is a white label promo and has a promo sticker on the sleeve. You're not going to get much closer to the original master tapes than this incredible copy for sale.
I have given the album a wood glue treatment, which pulls the dirt from within the grooves, much like a pore strip. Afterwards, I cleaned it in a Spin Clean.
I've taken detailed surface pictures under high light to really highlight some of the surface marks, but this is an absolute stunner. Giving this a play grade, it varies from VG to VG+. There is some surface noise at the beginning of side one, and during the quieter passages. Side two has some visible marks towards the end of the album, but they don't affect play (I've included a picture). The louder passages easily overpower whatever imperfections might be present. Please, watch the video and judge for yourself.
The sleeve is in Good condition. The promo sticker is still adhered to the front, and the spine is strong. However, the top of both sides has split open. Some tape will easily fix it, but I'll leave that to you. There's a generic inner sleeve.
It's not often that you come across a copy of the hot mix of this legendary album, and it's even rarer that it's a Monarch copy. The combination of those two aspects and the white label promo make this an incredibly hard to find, sought after rarity that any music lover would want.
