Listen to the whole album before bidding.

THIS IS THE RED PLUM LED ZEPPELIN 2 LP.  PLAYBACK SOUNDS BETTER THAN IT'S (VISUAL) VINYL GRADING.
This is the original 1st press plum/red Atlantic release of Led Zeppelin - II from 1969.  The LP comes in a gatefold cover.  The cover is in good+ condition with creasing and scuffing.  The labels are still in very good condition, undamaged with light spindle marking.  The vinyl is in very good- condition, it looks very clean and bright with some surface marks/scratches and light scuffing (some of the surface marks are very visible).  Playback is still very good with light crackling and some audible clicking on some surface marks/scratches.  If you are intending to make a bid please play and listen to the audio of the album to judge for yourself.

NOTE (PLEASE READ):  The photos of the vinyl are to show it is very clean and bright and not to misrepresent what I am selling as there are visible surface marks which cannot be seen in the photos.  Please take this into account when bidding.

Album notes:
Gatefold cover
Plum/red Atlantic label
'Killing Floor' credit on label (see photos)

Album Cover notes:
Front and back covers are still in good+ condition, creasing, scuffing, small pen writing inside gatefold (see photos)
No writing on labels
Light fraying on edges of cover
Heavy fraying to parts of spine

Vinyl grading:
Side 1: VG- (light/medium surface marks/scratches)
Side 2: VG- (light/medium surface marks/scratches)

Vinyl notes:
Both sides have been played on a Rega RP1 turntable with an Ortofon OM5E cartridge (tracking weight: 1.5g - 2.0g) and listened to on a pair of high end Sennheiser headphones.

Matrix Number:
588198 A//5      1 1  2 4
588198 B//4      1 4  2 5

A-side:
Some light crackling, light clicking in places, excellent playback

B-side:
Some light crackling, light clicking in places, excellent playback

In general the vinyl is in very good- condition.  It looks very clean and bright with some surface marks/scratches.

I tend to be over critical of a records condition as it is not my intention to misrepresent what I am selling.  I want the buyer to feel what they have bought is as described although not everyones opinion of its condition will be the same as mine.

If you have any doubts or questions about this record, please ask me and I will try to be as helpful as I can.
