You may have heard Led Zeppelin II before... but you haven't heard it like THIS!
Here we have a the holy grail pressing, the *must* have, Robert Ludwig HOT MIX!!!
This is the WAY to listen to Led Zeppelin II y'all. But you already know this, or ya wouldn't be scoping out this listing!
Of course this is an original 1969 pressing, Atlantic SD 8236, Presswell, RL in runouts (see pictures).
Now this is NOT a pristine copy; it's been well loved. HOWEVER it plays through without serious incident. You will wanna dial that weight up for the first track as there are a couple problem areas for which your tone arm may need a little boost; I still hear the small disruptions on our system, but you may not! (I would describe the imperfections as "skips" but they do not recur, they simple disrupt for a split second and then regular play resumes.)
You will hear the occasional pop, crackle, etc., mostly, but not exclusively during silences. Vinyl also has a slight warp to it, but adjusting weight should resolve that as well.
Jacket is quite worn, with seams almost entirely split; there is writing on covers, as well as discoloration / water damage.
