Description
HOLY GRAIL OF VINYL! This is a must have for any diehard Led Zeppelin fan or vinyl collector.
Led Zeppelin II SD-8236 1841 Broadway 1969 Robert Ludwig RL & SS ULTRA RARE MIX.
Extremely rare Presswell Pressing! This can be determined using the numbers found on record label which is ST-A-691671 PR - PR signifies presswell pressing
This jacket is in the best condition I have yet to see in this specific album (Led Zeppelin II). See images for record condition and RL / SS markings. Message me with any questions regarding vinyl. This is missing the original generic Atlantic inner sleeve.
This pressing has to be the most powerful Rock album ever recorded. The Presswell pressing has "RL" in the matrix of side one & "RL SS" on side two. The matching first issue gate fold cover is also in very good condition!
US 1st pressing (with the 1841 Broadway address on the labels), featuring Robert Ludwig's "hot" mastering on both sides. These were withdrawn early because the high bass levels caused low-grade cartridges to mistrack, leading people to return the album on the belief that it was defective. Another engineer was then hired to recut a much less "hot" version of the album, and that is the far more common version.
See picture of record for grading, as I am not a professional grader! If you would like more pictures and angles of the record or sleeve, do not hesitate to message me!
