This record has been cleaned and play checked. It has some marks and hairlines that impact on play. Side one has a couple of 2mm nicks that cause clicks, and a feelable scratch across track four. It also has one superficial line across the whole side which is only visible in bright light. Side two has a few scuffs but nothing feelable or worrying.
There are a couple of skips on the fade-out of side one’s first track - ‘Whole Lotta Love’. Elsewhere there are some tics at the end of track three and quite loud ones into track four, and quieter ones throughout track four caused by the scratch. Side two has a touch of surface noise throughout the quieter passages but not enough to overwhelm the music.
The labels are quite nice with several spindle trails.
Sleeve: Very Good
The early press light brown gatefold sleeve is conservatively graded VG but is in decent condition with a couple of spillages on the front and back (see pics). The spine is solid and legible and the edges have some edge wear with a little corner rubbing. The sleeve surface is pretty good with evidence of some handling and a touch of rubbing to the brown areas near the edges of the sleeve.
