LED ZEPPELIN - 'LED ZEPPELIN II'
This 2nd pressing of their 2nd second studio album dates from late 1969 and is on the 'plum' Atlantic label: 588198
The side 1 label lists track 3 as 'The Killing Floor' but reads 'The Lemon Song' on the cover tracklisting.
Matrix numbers: 588198 A//5 & 588198 B//4
Vinyl weight: 142g
Housed within a unlaminated light brown 'E.J. Day & Co.' printed gatefold cover (rear pocket opening only) & original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & unblemished pair showing just a handful of light, well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean, unworn playing surfaces which retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine with no noticeable marks or wear visible in strong daylight. Close and careful inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just some harmless wispy hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal & a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this well looked-after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This great sounding copy has clearly received just a few careful play on excellent quality equipment and my single careful playcheck at volume found no evidence of any groove/playwear distortion on any track or either channel. In fact, apart from a touch of light background during some of the album's quieter passages, there is little else to fault on this incredible album.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
An extremely clean & unworn example of this easily blemished cover, completely free from any storage rubbing or wear on both front & rear panels. The is a little softening to the inside opening edge of the rear panel but no heavy bumps or wear to any other corners.
Both inside panels are immaculate & completely unmarked.
The spine is unworn with clean, undamaged text.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with just a few gentle storage wrinkles, but no writing, seam splits or tears.
