Description

LED ZEPPELIN III
GOOD+ CONDITIONS OVERALL
Very Good (Vg)
The record has obviously been played many times, and may have slight deterioration in sound quality, noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Sleeve will have wear and tear, as expected for it's age.
PLEASE CHECK PHOTOS OF ACTUAL ITEM FOR SALE

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS RECORD IS 50 YEARS OLD AND HAS FEW LIGHT SCRATCHES BUT IT PLAYS ALL FINE
JUST ONE NOISE (NOT JUMP ) BEFORE THE VOCAL IN 1ST SONG
THE WHEEL WORKS FINE AND THE COVER HAS LITTLE SPLITS on BOTH SIDES TOP, BOTTOM AND INSIDE( NEED BIT GLUE IF YOU WANT TO FIX)
ONE OF THE 1ST PRESSING WITH OPEN SIDES TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE WHEEL AND CREDIT WITH PETER GRANT AND WRITING ON BOTH RUNOUT

  • Matrix / Runout Side A Do what thou wilt 2401002 A-5 G4C
  • Matrix / Runout Side B So mote it be 2401002 B-5 G4C

RareRecordCollector: The earliest matrices for this album are A5/B5. Page unhappy with the first few test pressings and rejected them in favour of the 5th pressing, hence the earliest matrix you’ll find on either side will be A5 and B5. There are later matrix numbers. Also interesting is that the matrix was hand etched throughout and also includes the infamous Aleister Crowley quotes on either side:

Do What Thou Wilt/So Mote It Be

a complete 1st press should have the Peter Grant credit, hand etched matrices with both quotes as above.
