Description
Led Zeppelin - III
(Atlantic 2401002 UK LP 1970)
This is a UK original LP pressing. This is the earliest pressing which has the "Executive Producer - Peter Grant" credit on both labels.
It has a fully laminated, front die-cut, gatefold sleeve which has a movable cog. It comes with its original company inner sleeve. The polythene inner lining is missing. Otherwise it is in VG condition.
The record has red & maroon Atlantic labels & A-5/ B-5 matrix stampers. "Do What Thou Wilt" is etched in the dead wax on Side 1. "So Mote It Be" is etched on Side 2.
A genuine UK 1st pressing!
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild overall fading to the sleeve. There is some mild rubbing wear to bottom edge of the front sleeve. The cog is in perfect working order. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: There are some mild to moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are approx 8-10 light marks. They vary in size from 1 cm to 8 cm long. Good+ condition. There is a mild black mark on Side 1's label. Otherwise mild spindle wear only. I have played this LP fully. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light or mild crackle in some quieter places. A very reasonable playing copy!
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
