Description

Led Zeppelin III Vinyl - First Pressing!

This was purchased used in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Sleeve is in very good condition. It has been played and enjoyed; there is some minor discoloration around the edge of the sleeve but it must be remembered this record is now 49 years old! See photos as they are part of this description.


The turning wheel in the front cover is present and undamaged - it turns as expected. See two cover photos showing different band member faces.


It has all the markings consistent with the first pressing of Led Zeppelin III:

1. Executive Producer: Peter Grant

2. ‘2401002’ catalogue number has no gaps or hyphens

3. Central white band on the record label is parallel

4. Publishing credits ‘Warner Bros. Music Ltd’

5. The matrix is hand etched on both sides as A5/B5 and also includes the infamous Aleister Crowley quotes hand-etched on either side:

"Do What Thou Wilt"

"So Mote It Be"


Record quality is very good, plays without skipping both sides. There's no writing or marking on the record label and there's no visible scratches on the record.
