OTHER :  Original FIRST MT 2043 1970 Japan vinyl press LP with blue/green labels of classic Led Zeppelin album with original OBI. Gatefold sleeve with working wheel, printed japanese insert. Excellent Plus vinyl !

DETAILED CONDITION:

VINYL :  Excellent Plus. Several scuffs and hair lines does not affect play. 

LABELS :  Excellent Plus. Original blue/green labels. 

OUTER SLEEVE : Excellent Minus (EX-). The outer sleeve is still beautiful with the WORKING WHEEL, but there is the wrinkle after a corner impact in the upper right corner on the back side (not very noticeable but presents - please see photo 3). There is also a smaller wrinkle from a corner impact in the lower left corner on the back side. On the front - there is the small bump on the upper left corner on the front affecting OBI. Small creases along the edges. Slight corner wear. No tears, writings etc. Please see photos!

OBI : Very Good Plus (VG++) Original pink OBI of first japanese vinyl press. There are traces from bending on the front and the wavy wear across the OBI strip. There is a dimming along the gluing line on the back of the OBI due to age. There is a small (a few millimeters) tear on the upper edge of the OBI.

JAPANESE INSERT : Very Good Plus (VG+). There are several traces from bendings, quite a few traces from touching with hands and several very light brown spilled spots. Please see photos.

GRADING 

I only grade as mint where the record is brand new and sealed with no visible damage to the sleeve. 

Near Mint (NM):

Sleeve: Will only show very minor signs of storage/handling wear. It may have slight corner bumps/rub, ringwear and maybe very minor creasing. It will have no rips or splits.

Record: Will be in a new like condition. Very Clean. It may have very, very minor defects such as no more than a couple of very light wispy hairlines and a couple of spindle trails around the centre holes. Basically a record in NM condition will look like you have just got it back from the record shop or at worse only had a couple of plays.

Excellent (EX):

Sleeve: As NM but the signs of wear will become a little more pronounced. There may be signs of stress at the seams maybe the beginnings of a split. It may have a cut out hole indicating that it was taken out of print. There may be a little graffiti on the sleeve or label.

Record: Will show signs of play but has been well looked after by the previous owner. It may show a few more light marks/scuffs than a NM. These marks won't be deep enough to be felt. There may be the odd click or crackle upon playback. Slight warps are that don't effect the sound are OK. 

Very Good (VG): 

Sleeve: A VG sleeve will have many of the defects found in a EX but more pronounced. Seam splits may be more obvious or may be taped or show residue. There may be small rips. It may show some age/handling discolouration. Laminate may be bubbled, may be marred with writing. 

Record: Wear and defects will be more obvious with marks/scuffs deep enough to feel with a fingernail. Groove wear will be more noticeable. Sound deterioration and surface noise will become more likely especially during quieter passages.
