LED ZEPPELIN - 'III'
UK 1970 1st PRESSING LP
This EXCELLENT and well-looked after UK 1970 1st pressing is on the 'plum' Atlantic label: 2401-002
The disc is housed within a U.S.A. printed gatefold cover (SD 7201) with fully functioning rotating wheel inside the front panel.
Complete with its original poly-lind inner-sleeve.
Matrices: 2401002 A-5 & 2401002 B-5
'Do what thou wilt' & 'So mote it be' are etched into each run-out respectively.

Labels: EXCELLENT
Clean, bright & unfaded with numerous light spindle trails to each centre hole but no other wear or damage.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are clean & bright with just a few light surface marks in strong daylight and some harmless wispy paper hairlines directly beneath halogen light.
Play: EXCELLENT +
A great sounding copy which has received only some careful play on top-quality equipment. The sound quality throughout is clear, clean & loud and my careful play check at volume detected no groove/play wear distortion or any background noise - even on the delicate quieter passages. The entire album is also free from any ticks, clicks, pops or any other such audible distraction and will not disappoint.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
Clean, strong and fully intact with an undamaged and working rotating wheel. There is a little storage wear to the corners and faint rubbing the the panels but no significant or major faults throughout.
Inner-sleeve:
EXCELLENT
Light storage bends but no writing, tears or splits.
