Description
I bought this album new in 1975, and as shown by the photos, the vinyl is still in near mint condition. As usual practice for me, the record was played twice and recorded on the second playing to another format.
According to Google AI, the absence of the tiny Warner "W" logo means this is a 1974 Presswell transition copy, narrowing down its production timeline precisely. Because it lacks that logo but features the "75 Rockefeller" address, it dates specifically to that one-year window before Atlantic Records added the Warner Communications branding to their label rims in 1975.
The Aleister Crowley phrase, “Do what thou wilt,”
appears on both sides of the vinyl, which has led to Led Zeppelin vinyl collectors referring to these rare copies as “Double Crowley” vinyls.
This specific combination makes this copy a highly sought-after variant for collectors tracking manufacturing variations. This precise timeline adjusts this record's valuation slightly upward, putting its market value between $35 and $95, heavily dictated by the physical condition of the vinyl and the gatefold sleeve.
