Led Zeppelin III Vinyl LP. UK. 1970 Press. Red/Plum label Atlantic 2401-02.
Please refer to pics. This is a 1970s UK pressing. Gatefold shows some wear and has yellowed a bit.
Pinwheel works fine. Some mild creasing on the gatefold and wear on the corners; nothing serious.
This was passed over to me by a family member and I’ve not had chance to play it. The record itself looks like it’s got some wear so I cannot attest the sound quality. If doesn’t look like there are any deep scratches but there’s surface wear and dust. Vinyl itself is still pretty shiny. Bear this in mind. I’m happy to send more pics if required.
Matrix/runout: reverse etch 14 (not sure - looks like a reversed 1 and 7?) Do what thou wilt 2401002 A-5 OP↙
Matrix/runout: inverted etch 15 17 So mote it be 2401002 B5 G4C
After some research, some people have said this is a first pressing but I simply don’t know enough to confirm that. Based on what I’ve seen on discogs, it could well be.
