Description
Up for auction is an extremely rare 1970 MONO white label promotional pressing of Led Zeppelin III. These mono issues were not available commercially and only pressed in very small numbers specifically for AM radio stations still broadcasting in monaural format. For an almost 51 year old record the vinyl is in very nice condition and is visually graded as VG+. There are some paper scuffs on both sides of the vinyl and a few inconspicuous hairlines. There are also two more conspicuous marks (one on side A and one on side B) which cannot be felt. The play grade of both sides is a solid VG++ bordering on EX. For a DJ copy of a 50+year old Zeppelin LP, one would be hard pressed to find one in better condition. The cover is a solid EX with some middle spine wear and minor shelf ware. The wheel on the cover is practically flawless and turns very well considering it's age. (PLEASE SEE AND ZOOM IN ON PHOTOS).
