Led Zeppelin IV 1971 UK LP Red/Plum Ver 5 A3/B4 TOP ERROR PECKO PORKY Great copy
Plum' Atlantic pressing on red/white/plum label.
This is the 5th of 9 known 'plum' label variations. Specific features for this:
• 'Marketed by Polydor Records Limited' at 6 o'clock.
• 'Under license from Atlantic Recording Corpn.' in white area under 'Atlantic' on left side.
• 'Led Zeppelin' is printed above spindle hole.
(Variation 3 had a printed label in smaller type-face, and Variations 1 and 2 had the band name printed below the spindle hole in the 'plum' section.)
• Catalogue number at 3 o'clock above circular 'Atlantic' logo reads 'deluxe 2401012'
• There is no 'Executive Producer Peter Grant' credit on the label but the printed inner sleeve still retains the credit.
• Side B has the following error: 'Misty Mountain Hop' is misspelt as 'Misty Mountain Top'.

Side one - A//3 PECKO DUCK
Side two - A//4 PORKY
Sleeve has a light scratch a little creasing in corner, and dewi in faint pen on front - a scribble on back . Solid spine though and very clean overall
Inner has a very small rip on top opening , no other marks or splits
The labels look great , very little sign of usage , v slight stain on side 1
Side one the vinyl has some scratch marks visible (see photo) - they look worse than they play , other lines are just hairlines
Side two is cleaner , very few visible marks
The above has minimal impact on playback which , overall, is powerful and a great listen
There are only a few pops on evermore and a few very light ticks on stairway to report. S2 sounds awesome!
