This is an original Led Zeppelin IV first pressing with the plum/red labels with 'Led Zeppelin' stated at the bottom, later issues have moved it to the top of label. Peter Grant producer credit on label at the bottom, later issues state only Jimmy Page which was also moved to the top. No Superhype publishing credit which were added to later issues of the album. 'Under license from...' credit is on the red part of the label, later issues move it to the white band. A/3 B/4 Porky Pecko

Gatefold sleeve both inside and out is in truly excellent condition with no discolouration to the sleeve. The spine of the sleeve is in near new mint condition with on the very slightest wear to the top and bottom. The original inner picture sleeve is in excellent condition, there is a one inch seam tear were the record has been inserted and removed. Records show signs of being enjoyed and played many times over the last 44 years. However we have played the record and the sound quality is excellent and dynamic with only a very slight hiss noise on Stairway to Heaven and that is being very picky. There are no scratches on the record whatsoever.

Our Vinyl is visually inspected under strong light for marks and imperfections. Any found are described in the additional condition section above or as per the Rare Record Collector grading system. Every one of our records has been tested by ourselves and has been machine cleaned prior to testing. Each record comes with a free an anti static cleaning cloth that is not available in the UK.

Mint (M): Perfect: This record looks like it has just left the manufacturer, with NO flaws what so ever. It looks as though it had never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains.

Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear to the edges of the sleeve and or creasing.

Very Good (VG):The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the sleeve and extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.

Returns are not accepted for auction items unless there has been an error in the listing by us. Returns are at buyers cost unless there has been an error in the listing. Any items for return must be advised within 14 days and must be returned in exactly the same condition as they were when dispatched. If any attempt has been made to modify or repair the item without authorisation then the return will not be accepted.
