Do I know about the specifics on this 70's Spanish Red/Mauve Atlantic copy....NOPE! I have only the vaguest hints! I would probably go for 1972-1973. What I can tell you is that - to my ears - they sound fab. I've never been disappointed and they seem to have been pressed on pretty solid vinyl. The vinyl comes housed in a shiny heavy-card cover. We also have a genuine 70's lyric inner - it looks like the UK version to me.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) in marvellous condition and has only seen very slight use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Very impressive audio throughout. Intros and inbteweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. If you want to hear the acoustic tracks on IV playing perfect you'd probably be advised to take a close look here<<<<. This copy is totally acing the acoustic numbers, and to be honest, that is a difficult find on ANY COPY. For audio this copy is basically knocking the ball outta the court! You will never find a cleaner copy of any version - that I can assure you. Pretty much faultless. A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side [e.g. as California closes out]. I am absolutely lovin' listening to this copy - superb! As good as you could possibly hope to find. Even on Stairway!
Cover (Ex) Continuing the theme of excellent preservation the cover is extremely tidy. Lovely shiny flat surfaces with no signs of creasing or wear. The interior looks great with only light signs of use. Very little sign of edge wear thanks to the heavy lamination employed. The openings are sharp and firm and the spine 100% intact. Overal the cover retains excellent rigidity. Super nice¬!
Inner (Vg+) A one inch bottom edge split. A small repair at the openings. Otherwise - fine!
