DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- IV, 4 ZOSO . Complete original 1ST UK pressing with red/plum labels, Peter Grant credit, no "Led Zeppelin" to top of labels and Atlantic in central white band. A3/B4 ("PECKO DUCK"/"PORKY") matrix. Dull matt gatefold sleeve. Textured dark brown inner with no Keith Morris photography credit. Postage cost includes tracking, full insurance and a box/cruciform mailer. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 2401012 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen and a few light hairlines. Decent visual VG. Played in its entirety over last few days on my budget deck, Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds very near to Excellent, if not Excellent. Plays clean, clear and loud. There are a couple of distant ticks in the early part of "Black Dog" and 2 or 3 in "Going To California". The rest plays really cleanly including "Stairway To Heaven" which sounds vibrant and clear. Cover is firm and square and has moderate to heavy edgewear, moderate to heavy cornerwear and light creasing. Very clean inside of gatefold. Generally light rubbing to rear and an inch or so heavy. Delicate printed inner has cellotape residue and splits to all 3 edges. Only a few small nicks to top edge instead of the usual heavy feathering. Really clean labels- check out the photos.. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LZ/ PROGRESSIVE/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
