Description
Led Zeppelin IV Classic Records 200g QUIEX SV-P. From the now defunct Classic Records. Bernie Grundman analog remaster from the original master tapes. From my personal collection and hardly ever played so rest assured this is a mint copy. I just finished playing this all the way through a final time. The vinyl is dead quiet and sounds warm and clear. Stairway To Heaven will blow you away with dead black silence in the slow segments and tubey rich analog sound when things kick in to gear. An astounding copy of Zep IV. Most regular copies of this album sound like garbage and are scratched and or groove damaged. You can imagine how these albums were treated by there owners back in the 70s and the stone age equipment they were playing them on. Good clean copies exist but you will have to buy a pile of them at 40 to 60 bucks a pop, before you find one that has the sound remotely close to this copy or plays as quiet.
Included is all the original packaging and the original plastic outer bag opened with minimal disturbance and sticker in tact, insert and original paper record sleeve. Gatefold cover is perfect.
Thoroughly cleaned with a VPI 16.5 to clean out all the manufacturing crud from the grooves. Record now housed in a mobile fidelity anti static sheath. This will be a great addition to any Vinyl collection and the only Zep IV you will ever need. A collectors item for sure and getting scarcer as the years roll on.
