Description
This is a RARE “KINNEY” label 1971 FIRST PRESS with the KINNEY K50008 STEREO STICKER on the rear of the gatefold sleeve.
The “PORKY” and “PECKO DUCK” scribed run out section.
The PLUM / ORANGE label, The FOUR CYMBOLS on the label. The FIRST TYPE LIGHT WEIGHT GATEFOLD SLEEVE.

The RECORD.
This record came from an acquaintance of mine who was a keen and careful collector, records were numbered and boxed, and once bought rarely played more than once, usually just in order to transfer to tape.
I do not know if he bought this from new, or at auction (as he did a lot) but this example literally has just two, light, cosmetic marks only, on side two, NO actual scratches, jumps or pips on either side.
The record plays beautifully, with bright, loud and crisp sound, the record has clearly only had light playing, The quiet parts play as enjoyably cleanly as the loud parts, only the lightest, spasmodic static crackle to be heard from time to time.
I AM HAPPY TO SEND AN MP3 FILE of representative examples of various tracks, quiet and loud, and the transition points between them to give an example of the true “background” condition.
The INNER SLEEVE.
The sleeve is a lovely clean and crisp example; it has NO fading, creasing, graffiti / names or marks.
Just a Small piece missing on the plain part of the top, rear face edge, which does not encroach on ant printed area, and a small tear on the plain part of the top front edge (NO actual loss) and short edge splits where the disc meets the cover.
The MAIN GATEFOLD SLEEVE.
The gatefold sleeve is also a superb example, and most remarkably it has NO RING WEAR, a rarity indeed!
The corners are square and free of bumping, all edges are free of any splits.
NO face inside or out has any scuffing, fade, graffiti / writing or marks.
The far top left corner of the front face has a small tape mark where private collection catalogue label once was
The Inner face, left hand side, has barely visible, partial or “ghosting” of a crease 1 ½ inches out from centre line On 21-Apr-09 at 09:51:19 BST, seller added the following information: NO PRIVATE BIDDERS PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
