Description
LED ZEPPELIN - 'LED ZEPPELIN IV'
This superb UK pressing of their 4th studio album dates from late 1971 and is on the 'plum' Atlantic label: 2401012
Both labels have 'Led Zeppelin' positioned in the upper half and omit the 'Executive Producer: Peter Grant' credit.
Track 1 on side 2 is misspelt as 'Misty Mountain Top'.
Matrix numbers: 2401012 (B// is xxed out) A//3 & 2401012 B//3
'PECKO DUCK' & 'PORKY' are hand inscribed into each run-out respectively.
Stamper Codes: 12 14 & 12 5
Vinyl weight: 125g
Housed within an uncredited, unlaminated UK printed gatefold cover with a sealed front pocket.
Complete with its original matt printed inner-sleeve.

A clean & unworn set with a moderate collection of light well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, deep-gloss paying surfaces which are clean & unmarked in strong daylight and reveal just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines upon close and careful inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this outstanding disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This fine sounding copy has received a minimal amount of very careful play on excellent equipment and is without any significant deterioration to the sound or any major faults. My single careful play-check at volume detected a touch of light background on some of side 1's quieter passages but no clicks, pops, ticks or any other audible distractions.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & firm example with light shelfwear but no significant or major faults throughout. Both front & rear panel are clean & unfaded with just some faint foxing marks to the rear. There is a little shelfwear to the corners but no damage or tears to the opening edges.
The inside of the gatefold is clean and unblemished and free from any writing or missing paper. There is a touch shelfwear to the lower edge but no stresses or splits to any seam & the unworded spine is clean and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with just a single bend to the upper right corner but no writing, tears or seam splits.
