ref this version: - https://www.discogs.com/release/439898-Led-Zeppelin-Untitled
'Plum' Atlantic pressing on red/white/plum label.
This is the 5th of 9 known 'plum' label variations. Specific features for this: • 'Marketed by Polydor Records Limited' at 6 o'clock. • 'Under license from Atlantic Recording Corpn.' in white area under 'Atlantic' on left side. • 'Led Zeppelin' is printed above spindle hole. (Variation 3 had a printed label in smaller type-face, and Variations 1 and 2 had the band name printed below the spindle hole in the 'plum' section.) • Catalogue number at 3 o'clock above circular 'Atlantic' logo reads 'deluxe 2401012' • There is no 'Executive Producer Peter Grant' credit on the label but the printed inner sleeve still retains the credit. • Side B has the following error: 'Misty Mountain Hop' is misspelt as 'Misty Mountain Top'.
This Copy: Matrix / Runout (Side A runout variant 1): 2401012## A//3 1 3 5 PECKO DUCK Matrix / Runout (Side B runout variant 1): 2401012 B//3 1 2 6 PORKY
The sleeve - has a bit of wear and tear as you would expect. A sticker mark on front , some rubbing on spine and edges, please view all photos
The original inner - often missing, this is included. Intact, just, a little frail (a new inner to house the vinyl is included), a few tears around the edges - see photos
The plum/orange labels - there are a few light stains, no stickers or writing, look nice overall
The vinyl - looks really good, there are a couple of scuffs and hairlines, no deep scratches and nothing that impacts the playing
The playback - is superb, sounds really excellent, barely a smidge of background noise, there were a couple of light ticks; a thoroughly enjoyable listen all round
More vinyl listed please take a look; happy to combine orders where possible...
